ARTICLE I

Mayor and Trustees

[Adopted 5-8-1985 as L.L. No. 2-1985]

 

§ 38-1. Title.

 

  This Article shall be known as the "Village of Lansing Elected Officers Compensation Law."

 

§ 38-2. Statement of purpose.

 

  In recognition and consideration of the time, effort, dedication and services contributed to the Village of Lansing by its Mayor and Trustees, and the responsibilities assumed and accepted by such elected officers, the Village hereby expresses its wish and desire to provide annual compensation payable to the Mayor and Trustees of the Village of Lansing.

 

§ 38-3. Compensation of Mayor.

 

  The Mayor of the Village of Lansing shall receive from the Village as his or her annual compensation a sum determined annually by the Village Board of Trustees.

 

§ 38-4. Compensation of Trustees.

 

  Each of the four (4) Trustees of the Village of Lansing shall receive from the Village as his or her annual compensation a sum determined annually by the Village Board of Trustees.
